12 weeks...
realise i’ve been a little quiet on the blog/twitter front recently. have been pretty busy. on two fronts..
first (and most important) it’s now less than 12 weeks till becca and I are married, we have a list longer than I imagined and it’s becoming a little daunting, but still looking forward to it. in fact i wish it was october now!
second i am in the early stages of a new position at work. i’m excited about this too but there’s a lot to learn..
will try and be more timely on here and post the usual nonsense! -

running
anyone following me on twitter will have noticed that i’ve been posting when i’ve been to the gym or have managed to run a decent distance in a decent time.. i joined the gym about 2 or 3 months ago now and i’ve been going about 4 times a week. this has all been to get in better shape for the wedding and also for myself, generally..
i enjoy running most of everything i do at the gym, so i’ve decided that i should focus on this area and try and take things to the next level. i decided to bid on a nike+ sportsband at ebay and i won.. so when it arrives i’ll start recording what i’m doing with my running. i always forget to record on paper and hopefully having the details digitally will help me remember and see where i can improve!
i’ve decided that the social networking side of it could be quite interesting in terms of setting and taking challenges that nike+ lets you do. as a window into that i’ve added a nike+ gadget on the right side of the blog, this could be a motivating factor if i want to avoid embarrasment! it will display my last run distance and total distance..
we’ll see how I go…
